Weekend Fun-Ness....

Lovelies,  I had an AWESOME weekend!  I had a GREAT date on Friday night with Cute Upper East Side Guy - we met on Match.com - he's super nice, really funny & really hot.  He took me to this great little french joint on the UES called Jacques Brasserie.  Totally great place & just the kind of atmosphere I like - a little fancy & not too loud!  (See pic below -we actually sat at the second banquette table away from the window!)

Oh, my lovelies - he was so charming & funny!  But I had to be on my toes to volley back his wittiness...  But that was fun!  We chatted a lot about our families and jobs & roommates.  (and he is SO good looking - and 6' 4''... did I forget to mention that?! SO HOT!)

At the end of the date he asked to take me out again, gave me an beautiful lingering kiss & we went our separate ways...  Mind you it's Tuesday afternoon and he has not called yet...  If he does - Great, but if he doesn't -- well, it's like water off a duck!  But why do they always ask to see me again if they have no intention of doing so...  (I always respond with "If you play your cards right you might get to take me out again" - of course with a wink & a smile...  Mama Musical has to play a little coy & flirty sometimes, right?!)

But when it rains, it pours, my dears.... positively pours buckets & buckets...

For some reason over the past few days I have not only been smitten with my fellow actor, had a great date with Cute UES Guy, but also went to singles night at the Metropolitan Opera and had to fend off the men at the reception before the opera...
I must be putting off some serious high quality pheromones...

There was really only one super good looking guy in the crowd and he never came up and talked to me during the reception - let's call him Opera Hottie... wait no, that sounds too gay - just O'Hottie will do...

So the opera was a 3 act one about Ghandi - was a  snooze -(sorry if I just offended anyone who liked it).  The set & costumes and props were cool, but that story & being sung in Sanskrit just made me want to pop a Tylenol PM and curl up in my chair...

BUT when I sat down in my seat, who comes and sits beside me but O'Hottie and his gentlemen friend.  He didn't even look at me.  (and he smelled delicious...)  All I could keep thinking about during the first act was that I wanted to ravage him because he smelled fantastic, looked fantastic and appeared to be able to hold a decent conversation (at least when he talked to the fella next to him before the show...)  Is it bad to think about giving a hand job to the handsome stranger sitting next to you instead of focusing on what's on stage??  Hmm....  Dirty thoughts were flyin' at the Met last night.

So intermission comes and I (because I'm ball-sy) asked O'Hottie and his friend  "How are you fellas enjoying the show?"   They were enjoying it - the friend more than O'Hottie - and they invited me to come and stand with them at the reception during the intermission.  Hooray!!  So -I spent that time chatting with these delightful men and found out quite a bit about O'Hottie: originally from Chicago, has a sister, is close with his cousins, moved to NYC in Aug. of 06, and mainly works in a pretty cushy job for the company below!

And he's NICE!!!  (and he asked what an Attractive woman like me is doing at a singles night??!  Hooray - Attractive!!)  So as we settled in for the remainder of the show I noticed O'Hottie was playing with his iPhone - and I was very envious - so I leaned over and purred in his ear "I'm so green with envy that you have an iPhone".  To which he replied "Well if I just impressed you with it, then I'd say I got a 100% return on my investment."

Clappity! Clap! Clap!!!

Lovelies, we exchanged cards at the end of the evening and he kissed my cheek twice and I told him "Please be in touch!" and he said "Most defiantly." with that wicked smile of his....

Oh, O'Hottie, why you gotta be so hot?!

By the way, lovelies, I also attended the Broadway Cares Easter Bonnet yesterday - was a GREAT show!  Full of fun & silly stuff!  I love me a good benefit!  Next up - Broadway Bares -- the annual Broadway Strip show Benefit!
